Systems Microbial Ecology

Microbial life at microbial scales

We combine lab experiments with modeling & computer simulations to study microbes at scales that matter for their life, including:

  • The interplay between cells and their environment at microscale resolution.

  • The interplay between individual-cell behavior and emergent properties of populations.

  • Microscale interactions between individual-cells within and between populations.

Our lab is part of the

Institute of Environmental Sciences,

Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology

Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment (Rehovot Campus)

Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.

We are also members of CAFE (Computational Agriculture Food & Environment) Initiative of our Faculty.
